Thesis
When I first started taking ceramics in high school I saw nothing that could be beautiful and elegant coming from it; all of my works were weird and had weird shapes to it. People liked the weird aspects I would incorporate in my art, but this year I wanted to create something elegant and beautiful just to challenge myself a little by making something out of my comfort zone. I wanted something beautiful that would represent the growth that will never stop inside our bodies.

Advice for future students
- Time Management- Class will take time and effort. Don't procrastinate on a project, or make important changes the night or 48 hours before, it will not help your work get better. It will only stress you out further.
- Research/sketch-booking is very important- Research is key to having a single idea on what you're doing, and research helps set your ideas in motion. By using you're research you can formulate a plan in your sketchbook for the idea you have, which determines if you have to do more research or not.
- Work Work Work- Come to class and work hard, the less time you have to spend outside of class. Make a goal sheet for everyday of what you want to get done inside and outside of class. Believe me it works with Time Management.
